Terms & Conditions for Workshop Registration
  • Payment must be made in full during online registration and prior to the workshops.
  • The participation fee for the conference is non-refundable. However, Taaleem do reserve the right to cancel the course if sufficient bookings are not received (and paid for) at least 2 weeks prior to the course starting. If Taaleem cancel any course, or part of a course registered participants are entitled to a full course fee refund.
  • The workshops shall be open to all persons properly registered.
  • Taaleem agree to provide each registered participant with tuition, workshop materials, refreshments, and a light lunch during the course of the workshops.
  • Name tags will be issued to identify participants and are required for admittance to workshops; they should be carried by participants at all times.
  • If a registered participant decides to cancel the registration for whatever reason, Taaleem must be advised by email conferences@taaleem.ae . This also applies in cases where visas are not granted. The course fees will be retained by Taaleem, however, the participant may nominate an alternative candidate.
  • Taaleem strongly recommend that participants buy insurance to cover the cancellation of a course. Taaleem is not responsible for any costs associated with flight or travel cancellations, we recommend that only refundable flights are booked prior to confirmation of a course. In the event that a course is cancelled because of insufficient bookings, Taaleem will offer a full course fee refund.
  • If an event beyond Taaleem’s control occurs, such as a leader being ill or unable to lead a course, or the venue is not available for whatever reason, then Taaleem shall endeavour to run the course with a substitute leader or venue. If that is not possible, a full refund of the course fee will be due to registered participants. No consequential or additional costs will be paid.
  • Uptown School or Taaleem, their directors, officers or agents are neither responsible nor liable for the safety and property of participants or their companions, nor for any financial losses incurred if workshops are cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of Uptown School or Taaleem, either during the workshops or any excursions related thereto.
  • Participants are advised to seek information on potential health and security risks and are responsible for securing adequate insurance coverage.
  • Each online registration and/or accommodation, visa, and excursion booking will be subject to a 3% online transaction fee of the overall total amount of the participant’s online booking. Please note that the 3% online transaction fee is payable to Network International (online banking service) for processing the payment and is non refundable.
  • Once the participants’ online payment has been made to Taaleem, and terms and conditions have been accepted, the agreement will become legally binding and governed by UAE law.

  • All accommodation charges are to be paid in full during registration to confirm the booking.
  • Above rates are per room per night, inclusive of 10% service charge, 10% government tax and full American Breakfast.
  • Rates are valid from the mentioned period of stay only and subject to rooms’ availability upon confirming the booking. Any changes in the dates will be subject to rate change and rooms’ availability.
  • Check in time is 14:00 hrs and check out time is 12:00 hrs. Late check out from 14:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs will be charged at 50% of the room charge. Check out after 6:00 p.m. will be charged at 100% of the offered rate. This will be subject to room availability.
  • Any late checkout requests will have to be advised in writing to ibworkshops@snttadubai.com and the charges paid in full upon confirmation.
  • Any changes in the booking dates / room type etc. will have to be advised in writing to ibworkshops@snttadubai.com  and will be subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
  • All cancellation requests will have to be advised in writing to ibworkshops@snttadubai.com.
  • Any room cancellation prior to the 10 September 2010 will NOT be charged and refunded to the credit card details supplied and charged during registration.
  • Any room cancellation after the 10 September 2010 will be charged at a 100% and no refunds will be made.

  • Maximum 02 passengers per vehicle
  • Transfers in Deluxe vehicles (Caprice Royale or similar)
  • SNTTA will not be responsible if the transfer has been missed due to incorrect information or flight cancellation.
  • In case of flight delays, the vehicle will wait for a maximum of 1 hour after the advised arrival time.
  • Pick-up time for a departure within Dubai is 03 hours prior to actual flight.
  • All cancellation requests will have to be advised in writing to ibworkshops@snttadubai.com.

Visa Details


VISA ON ARRIVAL

Visa will be granted on arrival in the UAE for the following nationalities:

Germany, Japanese, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, South Korea, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, British, Brunei, UK Overseas Passport Holders born in China and UK Overseas Passport Holders born in Hong Kong.

The above nationalities are granted a visa (maximum 30 days) upon arrival. This visa is non extendable.

  • The passport should be valid for 03 months or more prior to the date of travel.
  • Visa is valid for One Single Entry only.
  • Visa is valid for 30 days Stay, and is not extendable.
  • The Passport should be valid for minimum three months prior to the travel date.
  • If more than one person is traveling on one Passport (e.g. parent and child) the visa procedure is different. Please notify & advise clearly in such situations.
  • If the total validity of the Passport is One Year or less from the date of issue, a photocopy of the first three pages of the passport plus a copy of THE COVER OF THE PASSPORT is required..
  • Passengers should travel on the same passport, which were submitted for processing of the visa.

VISIT VISA

Applicable For: Asians, Africans - (Excluding South Africans), Middle East Nationals – (Excluding GCC Nationals), Nationals Not Included In Commonwealth Countries

NOTES
Applications for Transit Visas are required a minimum of 12 days in advance for Asians and 21 days in advance for Africans (Excluding South African) and Arab Nationals (excluding GCC).

Transit Visa applications for African (excluding South Africans) & Arab (excluding GCC) nationals indicated as above goes through immigration security check and could take longer than mentioned above to process. It is important to receive passport details well in advance.
The immigration authorities have the right to refuse visas without explanation.
In order to process the Visa, we would require:

  • A clear scanned copy of the passport including the cover page.
  • A clear scanned passport size photograph.

Please note that Visas may not be granted in case the Profession on the passport states “Private Service”.

Visa fees are payable in full in advance and if the application is rejected by Immigration authorities, the amount is non-refundable.

Transit Visas are valid for arrivals and departures in UAE at airports only and NOT at sea ports and border crossing.
